Fisher Named New Finger Lakes Health Maintenance Manager

Christopher Fisher has been named Finger Lakes Health’s new Maintenance Manager.

With over 30 years of experience in facilities maintenance, carpentry, landscaping, and leadership positions, Fisher is responsible for providing operational management of a comprehensive maintenance management program including:

· The timely completion of preventive maintenance, corrective actions, requisitioned maintenance, and projects;

· Overseeing the monitoring and control of plant operations and environmental conditions;

· Coordinating inspection and testing of all fire safety systems, emergency electrical power systems, and medical gas and vacuum systems, meeting all applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and;

· Assuring that work practices follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and department safety policies.

Fisher holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences degree in Criminal Justice from Finger Lakes Community College.

Prior to joining Finger Lakes Health, Fisher was employed through Sodexo as Director of Maintenance at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.

Fisher lives in Sodus with his wife of 28 years Sheila. He has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, wood working, and relaxing with his wife.
